Still getting ready and Gerry had the pleasure of going up the mast again. Gary and Betty cranked him up there so he could replace the wind indicator (again) and oil the track. He actually trusted me to get him back down!He stopped halfway down to cut off the old lazy jacks and leave enough cord to replace them while we're out on our great adventure. We thought, at first, that we'd go to Eleuthera but now I think it'll be the Bight of Abaco where according to the paper charts there is absolutely no depth to the water. "If you've never run aground you haven't been any place interesting" (Gerry). Just might leave tomorrow. Updating the blog will have to wait until we return.
