Miscellaneous nonsense

I've often been asked what I do with all my time, don't I ever get bored? People forget that we live here, not just vacation, so there's lots of mundane things like cooking, cleaning, laundry, and there is always something to fix. We have internet, cable TV and a WII system and a small library in the laundry room for chilly/rainy times.

As they say a picture is worth a thousand words:

beach

baking

bird watching

beach by dinghy

Dancing in the square

Hook large rugs (3 x 5)

Knit

Watch raccoons

Watch the moon rise

Hook smaller rugs

my own design using left over yarn

from a kit

display stuff from the beach

off roading

more stuff from the beach - a marker light that actually works

watch the sun rise

paint out the scratches

And then there's the art of bag folding - a newly acquired skill taught by Anita. I've since passed this knowledge on to Chris (now an expert) and Gerry (has taken no interest).

Another favourite pastime is watching great minds trying to solve a problem.  This is Bill and Gerry trying to figure out why the windlass won't bring up the anchor.

So I guess I'm not bored yet.
