Contrary to popular belief.........

Yes indeed, Gerry is working. I think he gets a bum rap. If a job needs to be done he does it. Sometimes it takes a bit longer than it should, sometimes it's a "work-in-progress" for some time, but it does eventually get done and it usually gets done well.

With Dulcinea gone the dock has been almost jack knifing. The 2 sections were chained together and now after days of slaving in the hot (and I mean hot) sun the docks are now rigidly fastened together. An added bonus is that now there is no awkward and sudden dropping down of one dock and bobbing up of the other when you stepped from one to the next.

Don't let the photo of me working fool you - I only spent a few
minutes filing the rough edge off a 4 x 4. I couldn't take the hot sun
and soon retreated into the shade.


Coming soon a photo of the completed dock and I've been assured that there's more work for me in the final touches. Yippee!
