Weather has turned chilly, time to go south but first we have to put our toys away.

| No the rudder is not 2-toned, that's how dirty it gets sitting in the water all summer, ugh. |
 |
| Thank you Les for helping once again. |
 |
| I must have a whole album of Les in this position.

Step 2 close up the RV. Leaving Thursday so thought we should close the trailer Monday, just in case something went wrong and of course it did. There was a power failure last week and nothing in the trailer worked so we thought the battery was dead and anticipated trouble when it came time to pull the slide outs in. Sure enough not enough power but when Gerry checked it was just a loose connection and they slid in, although there was a lot of moaning and screeching - guess we should grease them up next spring and run them in and out once in a while next summer. The bigger problem was the awning - it absolutely refused to roll up! Time was running out - had an appointment in town - had to get ruthless so out came the knife. We're replacing it next spring anyway so nothing lost.

| First, cut it off the roller |
 |
| Second, cut it off the trailer, that will teach it to not cooperate. |
And now to packing for the Bahamas. Change of pace we're flying instead of driving so all the "stuff" we're taking needs to fit into 2 checked bags, should be a fun exercise.
